NOTE:

GRASSELLO MAY CONTAIN SOME PARTICLES OF DEHYDARATED LIME!!!

Occasional small pieces of "dried up” lime putty inevitably fall off the equipment which transfers the slaked lime from the vats into the buckets, A VERY MESSY BUSINESS!  This is a testament to the ARTISANAL production of our lime putty and in no way these inclusions are detrimental to the quality and performance of our lime putty.

These "lime aggregate particles" are actually WELCOME in restoration where they resemble the underburnt/over burnt lime particles inclusions often present in original lime mortars.

GRASSELLO can be screened or filtered in order to remove these particles and be suitable for lime paint, fresco and fine plaster finishes. Or select our CREMA DI CALCE  (Micronozed Lime Putty) below.
